I haven’t heard of you before, where are you located, and how long have you been making wine?
We are a small production winery, focused on quality and consistency; therefore you probably haven’t heard of us or seen us at any big retail outlets. We like to keep things a little bit special and unique, and quite frankly are chuffed to bits when we get to show our wines to new people who haven’t heard of us before. Our winery is located on the outskirts of Nuriootpa, one of the Barossa Valleys main three towns, our vineyards are located here and also at Koonunga and Ebenezer in the Barossa’s North. We made our first batch of wine in 1998 but started making wine under the Atze’s Corner Label in 2005, however we have been growing grapes for over 40 years at our current location.
Who delivers the wine and how long will it take to arrive once ordered?
We use Australia Post and fastway couriers, if you have a preference then just leave delivery instructions with your order. We ship every 2 days so you can expect your order within 3-10 days depending on your location.
I’m not real sure about buying wine on the internet, what happens if I don’t like it after I receive it in the mail?
If you don’t like it after trying the first bottle simply contact us and tell us, no biggie, we will send you out an eParcel slip to cover the return of postage, once we receive it back we will refund your payment in full or replace it with a wine of your choice of equal value. To make refunding of your payment easily with PayPal you will need to notify us within 50 days of purchase that you are wishing to send the wine back.
Do you have a cellar door?
Sorry not at this stage, however, if you would like to meet us and try our wines next time you are in the Barossa Valley give us a hoy, and we’ll try and tee something up.
Why do you come up with funny names for your wines?
Why not!?
Are you organic?
No we’re not and we don’t pretend to be, however having our vineyards in the normally dry Barossa we only need to use minimal sprays to prevent disease in the vineyards. We look after our vineyards and wines as best we can, after all we drink all of our wines and share them with our family and friends as well!
