The Bachelor 2006 - Still available
The Bachelor 2006 was awarded a Top 100/Blue Gold (Judged with food) award at the 2010 Sydney International wine challenge, and being the first time we entered our wine anywhere, this was excellent news. Some of the judges comments
Adrian Atkinson
The nose was lovely and refined. Soft, rounded and quite elegant. Rich and balanced with nice integrated flavours on the oak. Very bright and fine with the dish. I feel it’s a real “don’t just sit there, enjoy me” type of wine.
Lisa Perrotti-Brown
Very deep garnet purple colour. Warm blackberry, spice, vanilla and a touch of raspberry pie. Medium plus acidity and a medium level of fine tannins on the palate with a medium to long finish.
Ken Dobler
A dark crimson purple colour. The nose is showing plums and cedar. The palate shows a creaminess of texture with plummy fruit and good length of flavour. Food made the primary fruit slightly more assertive and it was a good combination.
