Atze’s Corner Wines is overseen by sixth generation Barossa Valley vigneron Andrew Kalleske. The foundation of this artisan brand lies in low-yielding 1912 and
1951 Barossa Valley Shiraz vines planted adjacent to the locally-known Atze’s Corner – an unassuming plot of land to the east of Nuriootpa on the Barossa Valley floor.
Using fruit hand-selected from these and other Kalleske family vines throughout the Barossa Valley, Atze’s Corner wines are made with minimal intervention – open, small-batch fermentation, hand-plunging and pumping, oak maturation and minimal filtering and fining are the trademarks of this unobtrusive approach.
