Barossa Valley Vineyards | Wineries near Adelaide, South Australia | Atze’s Corner

Barossa Valley is one of the top regions in the country for vineyards. South Australia in general is known for its wines, but many high-profile wines are exclusive to Barossa Valley vineyards. Barossa is also known for its German-style breads, pastries, meats, and small goods — all of which pair excellently with the region’s quality wines.

About Barossa Valley and Its Wine Industry

Wine is one of the largest industries in the Barossa Valley, so it’s no surprise that the region is characterized by many hectares of vineyards. Every two years, the Barossa Valley Vintage Festival is held here to celebrate wine. Whereas many vineyards have become commercial operations, several artisan wineries near Adelaide still offer an authentic, visitor-friendly experience.

The Atze’s Corner Experience

Atze’s Corner uses several Barossa Valley vineyards to produce a variety of outstanding wines. Whether you’re visiting Adelaide or planning a trip to the Barossa Valley, be sure to stop by to try our exclusive collection. We have award-winning varietal wines unlike anything you’ve tried before.

For a truly memorable experience, book a cellar door. As you taste our wines, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy stunning sunset panoramas of the Barossa Valley from our terrace. You can also ask about our VIP wine tasting experience, which affords the opportunity to explore our unique winemaking process. VIPs can also try varieties available only through this personalised cellar door.

If you’re unable to make it to our winery, we’ll bring the Barossa Valley to you. Wines from most of our collections are available to purchase through our online store.

The Barossa Valley is home to some of the oldest Shiraz vines in existence, dating all the way back to 1847. In our Rare Old Vine Shiraz collection, we offer a wine with an average vine age of 70 years, as well as an option from our 1912 vineyard. These and other wines have won nearly 100 awards for their taste, quality, and overall excellence.

Although the Barossa Valley is best known for its red wines, white and rosé wines are emerging as well — and are just as outstanding as their red counterparts. At Atze’s Corner, we offer a white vermentino and a rosé made from Grenache grapes. As these are both limited production, you won’t find them in any large retail stores.
